I’m Ashleigh – Francophile, Tasmanian and recent Lark employee (I know! How lucky am I to work here!). I thought it was high time I introduced myself, although some may have already heard me on Facebook (I don’t quite have the same British vocab as Allison!).
When I moved over to Melbourne a few years ago from Tassie, I just couldn’t find a shop that had all the quirky little gifts and treats like the stores back home, and I refused to believe a store didn’t exist. So I shopped high and low, convinced myself it was research and not compulsive shopping, and eventually my nose landed me in Daylesford, through Lark’s front door, and well, I thought it was the coolest thing since sliced bread!
Imagine my delight when they were hiring, and hired me! The fact I live almost 2 hours away seemed no obstacle (in fact it’s about 5 hours train travel a day!). But hey, the things you do for a job you love…
So here I am, contributing to the blog – Hello! I’m so looking forward to helping Allison and sharing Lark’s news with you all.
p.s – I love my job, but not so much the travel and delays. I’m currently house hunting!

you are so lucky to have such a great job well done you.
